2008 Harlem Blitz Championship won by Master Jairo Moreira

With over 100 participants, in adition to be well attended by various National and International Masters, the tournament was also well attended by chess leagues, club members and chess parks across NYC. After a grueling 11 rounds IFM Master Jairo W Moreira and Gm Zviad Izoria finished with 9 points each the tied break system favored Jairo Moreira at the end.
